Mosquito Surveillance and Management Services

The Culex mosquito surveillance and management service stems from our unique Integrated Mosquito Management Program (IMMP®) which was developed specifically to reduce West Nile virus risk from mosquitoes. Although IMMP® was originally designed to target WNv vector species, we have now successfully extended its application to other mosquito-borne diseases. The IMMP® approach is founded on the premise that natural control methods are preferable to the use of chemical agents.

To streamline our program, we developed our own IMMP® database, from which spatial data and species information can be easily accessed for GIS mapping and data analysis. We offer customized programs, such as a Phase 1 only, or combined Phase 1 and 2, depending upon the goals and requirements of the client.
